Sheikh Mohammed Visits Young Entrepreneur Competition

(Dubai) – His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, visited the venue of the Young Entrepreneur Competition (YEC 2013), organised by Dubai SME at the Wafi City Mall in Dubai. He toured the venue which showcased about 700 projects by young entrepreneurs from the UAE, Arab and foreign countries.
Emirati young male and female entrepreneurs account for 60 per cent of the total number of participants of the exhibition in Dubai, compared with 85 per cent and 95 per cent in the exhibitions held earlier this month in Abu Dhabi and Ras Al Khaimah respectively.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid exchanged greetings with the participants and the crowds of visitors. He wished the participants good luck in the competition which will announce the winners in a ceremony on April 27. Sheikh Mohammed was accompanied by Khalifa Saeed Sulaiman, Director-General Of Protocol Department in Dubai, officials of Dubai SME, an agency of the Department of Economic Development (DED).
