On February 7th, the 13th edition of the President of the UAE Show Jumping Cup is set to commence tomorrow morning, featuring a two-star competition at a height of 130 cm.
The morning session will include a two-phase competition to qualify for the Grand Prix in the two-star championship, sponsored by the Abu Dhabi Sports Council.
In the afternoon, the first competition of the five-star category will begin with the “Welcome Stakes” competition at a height of 145 cm. Following this, an international competition for junior riders sponsored by the UAE Equestrian and Racing Federation (UAEERF) will take place at a height of 125 cm.
The day will wrap up with the qualifying competition for the President of the UAE Show Jumping Cup, featuring a single round with a jump-off at a height of 150 cm.
The total prize money amounts to €1,276,000, with €308,000 allocated for the President of the UAE Show Jumping Cup scheduled for Friday evening. Additionally, the Longines League of Nations will take place on Sunday afternoon, with 11 teams representing countries such as the UAE, Ireland, the United States, France, Germany, Switzerland, Great Britain, the Netherlands, Belgium, Sweden, and Brazil.
These details were announced during a press conference held by the organizing committee at Al Forsan International Sports Resort, attended by UAEERF Secretary General Dr. Ghanem Al Hajri, who also serves as the Chairman of the Organizing Committee.
