DIFC Celebrates 20th Anniversary

The Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) achieved record-breaking results in 2023, solidifying its position as the leading global financial center for the MEASA region. The Centre now houses 5,523 active companies, a 26% increase from 2022, with 1,451 new companies established, the highest in its history. DIFC also announced it is ahead of schedule in doubling its GDP contribution by 2030. Total revenues grew to nearly Dhs1.3 billion, operating profit reached Dhs859 million, and total assets increased to Dhs18 billion. The Centre attracted several global powerhouses and continues to be a magnet for talent, with a focus on driving sustainable economic growth and innovation.
