(Dubai) – His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, is leading the UAE’s delegation to the 32nd summit of the GCC leaders being held at Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
His Highness Shaikh Mohammed is accompanied by a high-level delegation comprising His Excellency’s Shaikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai; Lt-General Shaikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior; Shaikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs; Shaikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister; Shaikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Aviation Authority and Chairman of Emirates Group; Dr Anwar Mohammed Gargash, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs; Obaid Humaid Al Tayer, Minister of State for Financial Affairs; Ahmed Juma Al Zaabi, Deputy Minister for Presidential Affairs; and a number of senior officials.
His Highness Shaikh Abdullah bin Zayed chaired the joint meeting of GCC foreign and finance ministers.
Prior to the Summit, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, The President of UAE made a telephone call to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz of Saudi Arabia on Sunday to discuss GCC-related issues with him. The two leaders also reviewed bilateral relations and ways to enhance them.
