His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, has issued Edict (100) of 2023, outlining the restructuring of the Academic Accreditation Committee, in accordance with a proposal from the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Higher Education Council (HEC).
The edict establishes the following:
Article (I)
- Dr. Mona Mohammed Hassan Al Bulooshi as the Chair of the Academic Accreditation Committee.
- Dr. Ebrahim Al Sayed Jamal Al Hashemi
- Dr. Waheeb Isa Al Nasser
- Dr. Farzana Abdullah Maraghi
- Dr. Esmat Jafaar Ali
- Suha Mohammed Al Kooheji
- Dr. Zainab Ali Al Toq
- Dr. Hussain Mohsen Al Arrayedh
- Dr. Zubaida Abdullah Al Shaikh
- Dr. Hassan Marhama Hassan
- Dr. Abdul Raheem Mohammed Abbas
Article (II)
Committee members serve a four-year term, which may be renewed.
The Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the HEC is responsible for implementing the provisions of this edict, which takes effect upon issuance and will be published in the Official Gazette.
