UAE astronaut Sultan Al Neyadi has successfully completed a historic six-month mission on the International Space Station. His return to Earth was marked by a SpaceX Dragon capsule splashing down in the Atlantic off the coast of Jacksonville, Florida. This mission marked the UAE’s second human space flight and the Arab world’s first extended mission, including the first spacewalk by an Arab astronaut. UAE leaders, including President Sheikh Mohamed and Vice President Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, congratulated Dr. Al Neyadi on his accomplishments, which have inspired Arab youth. He will now participate in recovery and research activities to adjust to Earth’s gravity after his long space stay.
