Minister Fakhroo launches the “Connections Luxury” event.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro, Minister of Industry and Commerce, and Acting Minister of Tourism, officially opened the inaugural “Connections Luxury Bahrain” tourism event. This event hosted a diverse assembly of leading international tour operators, luxury tourism sector representatives, and destination management companies from across the globe.

Over the course of three days, international tour operators had the opportunity to explore Bahrain’s tourism offerings, aiming to promote the kingdom to international markets. Minister Fakhroo underscored the significance of hosting such an event, as it allows Bahrain to showcase its attractions, both in terms of tourism and investment, to visiting tour operators.

This event serves to spotlight Bahrain’s unique tourism potential and its capacity to establish lasting trade relations with prominent global agencies. Minister Fakhroo emphasized the role of the Ministry of Tourism and the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority in bolstering the kingdom’s capabilities and readiness to organize and host major international events.

The “Connections Luxury” event aims to unite global leaders and experts in luxury travel, ultimately positioning Bahrain as an ideal destination for luxury tourism. Minister Fakhroo highlighted Bahrain’s advanced tourism infrastructure, establishing it as a hub for luxury tourism in the Middle East.

The kingdom’s tourism offerings, from luxury hotels and resorts to upscale dining and shopping, collectively contribute to the excellence and distinctiveness of Bahrain’s tourism and travel sector, providing an extraordinary experience for visitors.

Minister Fakhroo emphasized the commitment of the Ministry of Tourism and the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority to strengthen the tourism sector through active participation in international tourism events, exhibitions, and forums. These initiatives aim to raise awareness about Bahrain’s diverse attractions, with a specific focus on its luxury tourism industry, which seamlessly blends cultural heritage with opulence to solidify Bahrain’s reputation as a distinguished and captivating tourist destination.
