King of Bahrain Meets Italian Prime Minister in Rome, Discusses Bilateral Ties, Global Affairs
During His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s visit to Italy, he met with Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni in Rome. The leaders discussed their countries’ strong relations, cooperation, regional and international developments, with a focus on the Gaza Strip.
King Hamad reaffirmed Bahrain’s commitment to regional stability and a just resolution to the Palestinian issue, supporting a two-state solution and the Palestinian people’s rights. He emphasized the importance of unifying efforts to protect civilians and facilitate humanitarian aid.
The King also acknowledged Italy’s vital role in promoting international peace and security.”
