Dubai has achieved remarkable success in attracting investments in the cultural and creative industries, surpassing major global cities and solidifying its position as a leading creative hub. According to the Dubai FDI Monitor report, the city recorded an impressive 107 percent increase in projects, reaching a record-breaking 451 projects in the cultural and creative sectors last year. This figure outshined cities like London, Singapore, Paris, and Berlin.
Dubai’s FDI capital flows in the cultural and creative industries surged to AED7.36 billion in 2022, securing the city’s first-place position in the MENA region and elevating it to 12th place globally, up from 14th in 2021. These investments have resulted in an estimated 12,368 job opportunities, positioning Dubai as the top destination in the MENA region and the 6th globally in terms of job creation.
