China and Malaysia Boost Trade Cooperation

Chinese Premier Li Qiang and Malaysia’s King Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar met in Beijing to enhance trade and infrastructure ties ahead of the 50th anniversary of their diplomatic relations. Premier Li emphasized strengthening economic cooperation, expanding key projects like the East Coast Rail Link, and fostering collaboration in sectors like AI and new energy. Malaysia’s King expressed support for China’s Belt and Road Initiative and a commitment to deepening ASEAN-China relations. This meeting marks a significant step in advancing strategic partnerships between the two nations.
