UAE and Eurasian Bloc Expand Trade Ties
UAE Minister of State for Foreign Trade, Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, met with Andrey Slepnev, Eurasian Economic Commission’s Trade Minister, in Moscow to discuss boosting trade and investment between the UAE and the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), which includes Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia, and Kyrgyzstan. Talks focused on advancing the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement and enhancing cooperation in sectors like logistics, agriculture, and transport. Dr. Thani emphasized the EAEU’s importance to the UAE’s non-oil trade, while Slepnev praised the growing economic ties between the two regions.
