In Manama on September 24th, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Deputy King of Bahrain, hosted a ceremony at Sakhir Palace, receiving the credentials of five newly appointed ambassadors to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The ambassadors included:
- Ambassador Mahmoud Braham from the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria.
- Ambassador HeonSang Koo from the Republic of Korea.
- Ambassador Eric Giraud-Telme from the Republic of France.
- Ambassador Vinod Kurian Jacob from the Republic of India.
- Ambassador Alastair Long from the United Kingdom.
HRH the Deputy King praised the strong bilateral relations between Bahrain and each of their respective countries. He conveyed the greetings and best wishes of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to the heads of state of the ambassadors, hoping for their success in strengthening diplomatic ties.
The ambassadors conveyed their leaders’ greetings to His Majesty the King and HRH the Deputy King, expressing their wishes for Bahrain’s continued progress. They also acknowledged the enduring relations between their nations and Bahrain.
The ambassadors were individually received at Sakhir Palace by Major-General Khalifa bin Ahmed Al-Fadhala, the Chief of Royal Protocol. Notable figures present at the ceremony included His Highness Shaikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Lieutenant-General HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, HE Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Major General Khalifa bin Ahmed Al-Fadhala, and Ambassador Dr. Mohamed Ali Bahzad, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Consular and Administrative Affairs.
