He emphasized that these sporting successes play a vital role in enhancing Bahrain’s esteemed reputation in the regional, continental, and global sports arena.
HM King Hamad expressed his pride in the determination, skills, competitive spirit, and well-deserved podium placements achieved by Bahraini athletes. He also acknowledged the unprecedented advancements in the youth and sports sector, attributing them to the dedicated efforts of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, HM the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, and Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS), as well as those of His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, SCYS First Deputy Chairman, General Sports Authority Chairman, and Bahrain Olympic Committee President.
Furthermore, HM the King praised the unwavering dedication and resilience displayed by Bahraini youth and athletes, who have spared no effort to raise the national flag at various sporting events.
