Sharjah Delegation Wraps Up Shanghai Visit

 

Sharjah, 8th June, 2024 (WAM) – After a week-long visit to China, a delegation from Sharjah led by the Department of Government Relations (DGR) wrapped up a series of meetings in Shanghai. The discussions, spanning from June 6th to 8th, delved into sustainable urban management, urban planning, and exhibition development. Various topics, including human resource enhancement, smart city infrastructure, and initiatives for women empowerment, were addressed. Sheikh Fahim Al Qasimi emphasized the strategic importance of the visit in fostering collaboration between Sharjah and Shanghai. The delegation, comprising representatives from diverse sectors, engaged in discussions with key institutions and toured cultural landmarks. The visit to Shanghai marked the conclusion of a comprehensive tour of China aimed at strengthening bilateral ties across multiple domains.
