“Joint Framework for Collaboration Signed Between Institute of Public Administration and Al-Shura Council’s General Secretariat”
In a significant development on November 29 in Manama, the Institute of Public Administration formalized a collaborative framework with the General Secretariat of the Shura Council. This agreement aims to explore cooperation in various areas, including the implementation of a parliamentary support program, exchange of training and development experiences, collaborative studies, research, consulting, as well as evaluation and guidance services.
Dr. Sheikh Rana bint Issa bin Daig Al Khalifa, the Director General of the Institute, and Mrs. Karima Mohamed Abbasi, the Secretary General of the Shura Council, were key figures in signing the agreement. Stressing the importance of ongoing collaboration, Sheikh Rana highlighted the need for enhancing the institutional work system in Bahrain. This continuous cooperation aims at upgrading national capabilities, aligning with the government’s strategic priorities outlined in the 2026 Government Work Program for delivering quality and competitive services.
Sheikh Rana emphasized the Institute’s commitment to designing programs in line with Bahrain’s evolving needs and international standards. The joint effort with the Shura Council’s General Secretariat will focus on elevating national cadres and providing parliamentary support through high-level engagements with experts.
