Gulf Air Renews MRO Collaboration with Joramco

Bahrain’s national carrier, Gulf Air, has extended its maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) contract with Jordan Aircraft Maintenance (Joramco) for another four years. The agreement, signed during the Dubai Airshow, builds on a decade-long partnership formed in January 2013. Joramco, based in Amman and the MRO and engineering arm of Dubai Aerospace Enterprise, will continue to provide heavy maintenance for Gulf Air’s fleet at its MRO center at Queen Alia International Airport in Jordan. Gulf Air’s Technical Division will handle A-checks and C-checks at its facility at Bahrain International Airport. The extension aims to meet the demands of Gulf Air’s expanding fleet, emphasizing the close proximity of Joramco to Bahrain for swift aircraft transfers and minimized downtime.
