(New York) – In accordance with the provisions of the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations 1961, the Governments of the United Arab Emirates and the Kingdom of Bhutan signed a joined communique on the establishment of diplomatic ties at the level of ambassadors.
UAE was represented by H.E. Ahmed Al-Jarman, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary; Permanent Representative of UAE to the United Nations, while the Kingdom of Bhutan was represented by Lhatu Wangchuk, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Bhutan to the United Nations.
