The meeting is being attended by representatives of the Ministries of Justice and Interior and other concerned authorities. The UAE delegation is headed by Adviser Adil Abdullah Marzouqi, representative of the Ministry of Justice, and Omar Al Shamsi, representative of the Ministry of Interior.
In a statement, Al Marzouqi told Emirates News Agency in Cairo that the two-day meeting will discuss a draft on the rules of the network.
He said the Arab League Council, at its ministerial meeting last March, had passed the recommendations of the Arab Group of Experts on counter-terrorism, calling for the continuation of efforts to create Arab counter-terrorism and organised crime network.
