(Dubai) – H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai received Yang Dongliang, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Tianjin Committee and Executive Vice Mayor of Tianjin.
During the meeting both the leaders discussed cooperation and historic relations between the UAE and the People’s Republic of China in general and between Dubai and Tianjin in particular.
Sheikh Mohammed welcomed the expansion of economic and cultural ties for the betterment of mutual interests. For his part, Yang Dongliang conveyed to Sheikh Mohammed the desire and will of the Chinese government and the people to boost relations on all aspects.
The meeting was also attended by Director of Dubai Ruler’s Court, H.E. Mohammed Ibrahim; Director General of Dubai Media Office, H.E. Ahmed Abdullah; President of Maras Holding, H.E. Abdullah Ahmad and President of Tianjin Innovative Finance and Investment Company, Mr Poly.
