(Dubai) – His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has ordered the immediate release of 625 inmates from Dubai punitive and corrective institutions in Dubai to mark the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan.
Dubai Attorney General Essam Eisa Al Humaidan said that Sheikh Mohammed’s order covers inmates of all nationalities, and that the Public Prosecution has started coordinating with Dubai Police to implement the order as soon as possible. Al Humaidan expressed his gratitude to Sheikh Mohammed for his kind gesture and goodwill, saying that it would have a far-reaching and positive impact on the families of the released prisoners.
