Sheikh Mohammed Meets President IDB Saudi Arabia

(Abu Dhabi) – His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoumm, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, received president of the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) Saudi Arabia Dr Ahmad Mohamed Ali and other IDB staff as well as a number of officials from Islamic Economy Sector in Dubai and Islamic bankers at Za’abeel Palace. Also present at the meeting were H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and H.H. Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai.
The officials of Islamic Economy Sector and other bankers in the field hailed the initiative ‘Dubai: Capital of Islamic Economy’, launched by Sheikh Mohammed earlier this year saying that the initiative reflects Sheikh Mohammed’s prudent vision for the future of Islamic economy in the region and in the world at large.
