Sheikh Mohammed meets media personalities, top officials

(Dubai) – His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, met at the Dubai World Trade Center a number of media personalities and heads of local government departments. Sheikh Mohammed exchanged Ramadan greetings with the attendants who wished the UAE more progress and stability under the country’s wise leadership.
Sheikh Mohammed emphasised the importance of coordinating efforts of media and government departments which constitute the key source of local news to keep the public opinion informed about the country’s achievements and to reflect its image worlwide. He praised the efforts of the Media Office Dubai Government in providing channels of communication with national and international media. He also underlined the harmony among different components of the UAE media organisations.
Director General of the Media Office of Dubai Government Ahmed Abdullah Al Shaikh thanked Sheikh Mohammed for his keenness to meet with media personalities and to provide them with necessary facilities to perform their duties.
