(Abu Dhabi) – During a meeting with visiting Libyan Prime Minister Dr Ali Zidan at Zabeel Palace, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai said that the leadership, government and people of the UAE unconditionally support just and legitimate Arab causes.
The UAE’s policy in this respect is based on the principles of peace, justice, equality and freedom for all people across the world along with realising security, stability and economic prosperity in “our Arab Region”.
Sheikh Mohammed and Dr Zidan reviewed bilateral ties and took stock of the current events in the Arab world, including the political changes in Libya. Dr Zidan also briefed Sheikh Mohammed on the political and economic transformation Libya is currently undergoing under the new era, stressing that his country was planning to rebuild the country in urban, educational, social and economic sectors.
