Sheikh Mohammed Meets ITU Telecom World Participants(Dubai) – H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, met with Dr Hamadoun I. Toure, Secretary-General of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) along with participants in the 12th ITU Telecom World conference at the VIP Hall at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.
Sheikh Mohammed welcomed the high-profile participants to the UAE and wished them success in their 12th ITU Telecom World conference, which is taking place for the first time in the UAE and the Arab region. The meeting was also attended by Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) Chairman, Mohammed Ahmed Al Qamzi and Etisalat Group CEO, Ahmed Julfar.
