(Cairo) – H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE Foreign Minister, met with Egyptian Foreign Minister, Nabil Fahmy. The meeting was held in presence of H.E. Dr Anwar bin Mohammed Gargash, UAE Minister of State for Foreign Affairs.
Both sides discussed fraternal relations between the two countries, and ways of advancing them in all spheres, were discussed. H.H Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed was briefed by his Egyptian counterpart on the developments in Egypt and the government’s efforts during this transitional period. H.H Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed briefed the Egyptian Foreign Minister on the outcome of his meeting with the U.S. Secretary of State, John Kerry.
H.H Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed emphasised on UAE’s keen interest in making all possible efforts to support Egypt in various spheres in order to fulfil the aspirations and hopes of the people of Egypt, after 30th June in particular, for security, stability and progress.
