(Ottawa) – Foreign Minister of UAE, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan during an official visit to Canada met with Canadian Prime Minister, Stephen Harper in presence of Canadian Minister of Foreign Affairs, John Baird and UAE Economy Minister Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri.
During talks with Stephen Harper and John Baird, Sheikh Abdullah discussed ways to enhance ties between the two friendly countries.
The Canadian Foreign Minister also hosted a luncheon in honour of Sheikh Abdullah and the delegation accompanying him which was attended by Canadian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Morris Rosenberg, Assistant Foreign Affairs Minister for Middle East Affairs Gordon Venner, UAE Ambassador to Canada Mohammed Abdullah Mutlaq Al Ghafli, Canadian Ambassador to the UAE Ken Lewis and representatives of Canadian business sectors.
