(Manama) – The Rashid Equestrian and Horse Racing Club held the 10th race for this season at its racecourse in Rafaa, Sakhir
National Guard Commander, Lieutenant-General HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa, Deputy Chairman of the Rashid Equestrian and Horse Racing Club High Committee, HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, HH Shaikh Khalid bin Ali bin Isa Al Khalifa, HH Shaikh Sultanuddin bin Mohammed bin Salman Al Khalifa and Sothern Governor, HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, were present.
Representatives of sponsors and horse-racing fans also attended.
Seven rounds were held over the cups of Alba, Southern Governorate and Al-Salam Bank.
HH Shaikh bin Salman was presented with the trophies of the Alba Cup for the sixth round and the Al-Salam Bank’s Cup for the seventh round after two horses from the Al-Adiyat Stables, owned by HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman, had won the two races.
HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa presented the Southern Governorate’s cup to the winner trainer, Yussef Tahar.
Hassan Anwar presented the trophies of Alba’s Cup for the second and fifth rounds to HH Shaikh Isa bin Abdulla bin Isa Al Khalifa, and that of the fourth round to HH Shaikh Salman bin Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa.
