(Tehran) – The Iranian President Hassan Rouhani received in Tehran His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE Foreign Minister. During the meeting, Sheikh Abdullah conveyed the regards of the President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces to the Iranian President.
President Rouhani and the UAE Foreign Minister discussed the bilateral relations and ways to strengthen them. Sheikh Abdullah stressed the importance of strengthening the bilateral relations, wishing success to the new Iranian government.
The Iranian President asked Sheikh Abdullah to convey his regards to the Sheikh Khalifa, Sheikh Mohammed and General Mohammed. He also congratulated the UAE on winning the bid to host Expo 2020.
