President Khalifa receives Emir of Qatar

(Al Ain) – President of UAE, His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan received Emir of Qatar Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani and a delegation of senior state officials accompanying him.
The meeting between the two leaders was held at the Al Jesyoorah Rest House, in the presence of President’s Representative H.E.Sheikh Sultan Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces H.H. General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Ruler’s Representative in the Western Region H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
During the meeting, fraternal ties between UAE and Qatar and the ways to strengthen the relations in various fields were discussed. The two leaders also exchanged views on a number of current regional and global issues and appraised the stance of both countries towards them.
