(Manama) – His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa has affirmed that the fraternal Bahraini-Kuwaiti relations have reached an advanced level as the two brotherly peoples share joys, and are proud of each other’s landmark achievements.

“The Kingdom’s of Bahrain will never forget Kuwait’s standing with it under various circumstances, under the leadership of the Amir, HH Shaikh Sabah Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah,” HRH Premier said.

The Prime Minister made the statements while receiving, at the Gudaibiya Palace, the Kuwaiti Ambassador to Bahrain, Shaikh Azzam Mubarak Al-Sabah, who handed over to him an invitation to attend the celebration to be hosted by the Kuwaiti Embassy marking the 56th Anniversary of Kuwait’s National Day, and the 26th Anniversary of the Liberation Day.

The ambassador asserted that HRH Premier is a well-established school from which citizens of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) learn the values of cooperation, fraternity and communication, noting that the Prime Minister enjoys a distinguished position in the hearts of the Kuwaiti leadership and people, given his unwavering interest in developing Bahraini-Kuwaiti relations at the official and popular levels.

HRH Premier reviewed with the ambassador the advanced level of the Bahraini-Kuwaiti relations, and their steady progress in various fields, noting that bilateral relations are based on a long history of cooperation.

HRH the Prime Minister wished brotherly Kuwait further progress and prosperity, under its leadership.
