
(Dubai) – Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, received U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security, Jeh Charles Johnson, and his accompanying delegation. Also present was H.H. Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai.
His Highness and the U.S. official reviewed the overall relations of cooperation and friendship between the U.A.E. and the United States, especially in the field of strategic security cooperation and ways to boost peace and security on regional and international levels. The meeting also covered security and political changes in the Arab region and the Middle East.
Mr. Johnson commended the level of cooperation between the two countries, which he said contributes to achieving the objectives of the two sides and the two friendly peoples in security, stability and prosperity.
