(Dubai) – Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum received in Dubai British Secretary of State for Defence Philip Hammond who is visiting the UAE as part of a regional tour. Present during the meeting was H.H. Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai.
Sheikh Mohammed and Hammond discussed ties of friendship and cooperation between the two countries and means to sustain regional security and stability.
The meeting was also attended by H.E. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister for Cabinet Affairs, H.E. Dr. Anwar bin Mohammed Gargash, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, H.E. Reem bint Ibrahim Al Hashimy, Minister of State, H.E. Mohammed Ibrahim Al Shaibani, Director General of Dubai Ruler’s Court, Major General Mohammed Ahmed Al Qamzi, Khalifa Sulaiman, Director General of Dubai Protocol and Hospitality Department and British Consul General Edward Hobart.
