
(Abu Dhabi) – The Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, visited the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) in Abu Dhabi. His Highness Sheikh Mohammed met with H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister, MoFA officials, employees and also toured various sections of the ministry and was briefed on MoFA’s work mechanisms both at home and abroad.
He was briefed about the efforts and contacts of the Ministry with countries and international organisations on humanitarian, rights and legal issues on child, woman, labour and human rights. The briefing also covered the efforts of the Ministry to promote the UAE’s bid to win the international support for hosting Dubai Expo 2020.
During the meeting, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed expressed his thanks and appreciation for the teamwork of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs led by H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed, who dedicatedly works for the interests of the nation and its citizens, implementing the UAE’s foreign policies to the fullest extent, wishing them the best in achieving success at all levels.
