(Manama) – Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh has received Speaker of Pakistan’s National Assembly, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, and his accompanying delegation.
Al Saleh expressed his gratitude and appreciation of the genuine stances of Pakistan in solidarity with the Bahraini people in all circumstances that signify the distinctive bonds between the two fraternal countries and peoples, and that undoubtedly contribute in the interest of the Islamic nation and Asian countries in general.
He reaffirmed the legislature’s support to boosting the bilateral cooperation at all levels. He wished for further continuity of the cooperation between the two countries’ legislatures on exchange of viewpoints between parliamentarians regarding various regional and international issues, especially in view of current challenges experienced by the world.
Speaker Sadiq reaffirmed the deep-fathomed bilateral bonds, praising the Kingdom of Bahrain’s renaissance, and stressing the need to consolidate the parliamentary cooperation and coordination of both sides’ stances in international conferences and functions to serve the shared interest.
