The Bahrain’s delegation led by Shaikha Rana Bint Isa Al Khalifa representing the government of Bahrain also visited the Ministry of Health Services and formally discussed the project and concluded the various aspects of the agreement to make meaningful progress on the project, says a press release.
Ambassador Javed Malik said that the King Hamad University of Nursing and Associated Medical Sciences was a result of the meetings between Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and King Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa and will emerge as great icon and a tangible symbol of the strong bonds of friendship between Pakistan and the Kingdom of Bahrain.
This agreement highlights the great love and affection that King Hamad has for the people of Pakistan.Speaking about the university, Ambassador Javed Malik said that The King Hamad University would be affiliated with the Royal College of Nursing Ireland and would produce 500 highly qualified 500 graduates that would greatly assist Pakistan’s healthcare and medical needs.
The project is expected to start its construction phase soon, he added. He thanked Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif for his ongoing guidance and personal interest in taking this project forward.
