
(Riyadh) – H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, participated in the Saud Al-Awtan International Conference, organised by the King Faisal Centre for Research and Islamic Studies, to remember and honour the late Prince Saud Al-Faisal.
The conference was held under the patronage and with the attendance of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia, at the King Abdulaziz International Centre for Conferences in Riyadh.
The three-day conference is highlighting the immense contributions rendered by the late prince to not only Saudi and Arab diplomacy but also to international diplomacy as well, in addition to his major achievements.
Prince Saud, who was the Kingdom’s Foreign Minister from October 13th, 1975, until April 29th, 2015, became the world’s longest serving foreign minister. He worked under four Saudi monarchs, Khalid, Fahd, Abdullah and Salman.
