(Manama) – His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier, at the Al-Sakhir Palace.
HM King Hamad reviewed local issues and topics aiming to enhance and consolidate the national march, stressing the importance of the current phase which, he said, requires more efforts and fruitful work to advance the kingdom, preserve and optimise national achievements and continue the nation-building and development process.
HM the King highlighted the importance of carrying on the approach of diversifying the base of the national economy through supporting the existing sectors and creating new ones to serve economic development plans and achieve the best for the nation and the citizens.
The kingdom has succeeded, thanks to the efforts of its loyal citizens, in achieving more progress in all fields, HM the King said, voicing pride in the dedication of Bahrainis and their constant keenness to serve the nation and consolidate its status at all levels and gatherings.
HM King Hamad lauded the efforts exerted by HRH the Prime Minister and HRH the Crown Prince to constantly develop government action and adopt initiatives and programmes that benefit the national economy for the best interests of Bahrain and its beloved people.
