(New York) – H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Foreign Minister participated in the annual coordination meeting of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries here in New York. The meeting was part of preparations for the 68th session of the UN General Assembly.
The Bahraini Foreign Minister, Sheikh Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, chaired the meeting which discussed a number of regional and international issues in addition to a number of issues of mutual interest. Dr. Abdul Latif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Secretary General of the GCC was also present.
During the meeting, joint relations between the GCC member states and the superpowers, international organisations and political and economic bloc were discussed.
