
(Paris) – French President Francois Hollande received in Paris H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
During the meeting, Sheikh Abdullah conveyed regards of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan to the French President, and his best wishes for further progress and prosperity to the French people.
On his part, the French President asked Sheikh Abdullah to convey his regards to the UAE President, and his best wishes of more progress and prosperity to the people of the UAE.
President Hollande and the UAE Foreign Minister exchanged views on the latest regional and international developments, and on work to fight against extremism, violence and terrorist groups to eliminate the threat of terrorism and the criminal organisations indulging in it. They also pledged to cooperate with sisterly and friendly countries to safeguard the security and stability of the region.
The meeting was attended by Maadhad Hareb Mughair Al Khaili, UAE Ambassador to the French Republic, and Dr. Zaki Nusseibeh, Cultural Counselor at the Ministry of Presidential Affairs.
