(Abu Dhabi) – Dr. Anwar Mohammed Gargash, Minister of State for Federal National Council Affairs and Chairman of the National Election Committee, has stressed that third Federal National Council elections highlight the UAE’s “sincere” efforts to boost national development and progress.
Thirty six polling stations across the country’s seven emirates are ready to receive Emiratis who will cast their votes to select their representatives in the council.
Gargash, who is also Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, commended the forthcoming elections as another step forward in the empowerment programme pledged by President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
