Sheikh Abdullah leads UAE Delegation to Arab FMs meeting

(Cairo) – H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister of UAE is leading UAE delegation to the Ministerial level session of the Arab League Council, being held in Cairo to discuss developments in Syria.
In the final statement issued after the session, the Council has urged the UN Security Council to issue a resolution to form joint Arab and international peacekeeping force to monitor the situation in Syria.
The Council also renewed commitment to implement all resolutions issued by the Council and urged Arab League’s Secretary General to name a special envoy to follow up the proposed political process.
