(Islamabad) – Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Chief Mian Nawaz Sharif and the visiting Chinese Prime Minister Li Keqiang held meeting in Islamabad. The Chinese Prime Minister congratulated Mian Nawaz Sharif on the success of his party in the general elections and hoped it will help further strengthen democracy in the country. He also invited Nawaz Sharif to visit China.
During meeting, both the leaders held in-depth discussion on the ways to further strengthen existing bilateral and strategic relations in various fields. Nawaz Sharif requested the Chinese premier to help Pakistan in acquiring Civil Nuclear Technology to resolve ongoing energy crisis. PML-N leader Mian Shahbaz Sharif‚ Chaurdy Nisar Ali Khan and Senator Ishaq Dar were also present in the meeting.
