BOC wins Networks ME Innovation Award 2017
(Manama) – Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) has made another significant step towards excellence in its implementation of projects.
BOC’s Information Technology (IT) department was presented with the award for the best Wireless Connectivity Network Project for staff, sports associations and external departments at the Network Middle East Innovation Awards ceremony held in Dubai.
The department has established a MPLS network that connects BOC headquarter with its external departments and sites that are located in different locations within the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The awards night was to celebrate the achievements of networking professionals, service providers and vendors that have worked on the most challenging of projects and implementations in the last 12 months.
BOC was granted this prestigious award for implementing technology innovations that produced measurable results in enabling or leading the way to greater success for its business.
Open to companies anywhere in the Middle East, The Network Middle East Innovation Awards 2017 brought the networking and security community together again to recognise winners in eighteen categories.
“As the longest running and most credible awards programme for the networking community in the Middle East, winning a Network Middle East Innovation Award is considered to be a true benchmark of success and we are so proud that we have reached this far,” said IT Director Nawaf Abdulrahman.
