Bahrain’s strides in boosting human rights stressed

(Manama) – Deputy Prime Minister Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa received at Gudaibiya Palace Assistant Foreign Minister Abdullah Faisal Al Dusari and Foreign Ministry Undersecretary Abdullah Abdullatif Abdullah who presented him with a report on Bahrain’s participation in the 33rd session of the Human Rights Council and the outcome of their meetings with international officials.

They also briefed the Deputy Premier on the Foreign Ministry’s ongoing preparation of Bahrain’s Comprehensive Periodic Review report which will be submitted in the upcoming period.

The Deputy Prime Minister lauded the efforts of the Foreign Ministry in this respect, stressing Bahrain’s ongoing achievements in boosting human rights under the reform project of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
