Azeri President receives Sheikh Abdullah

(Baku) – Azeri President Ilham Aliyev, received H. H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister of UAE in Baku.
Also present during the meeting were H.E. Khalid Al Ghaith, Assistant Foreign Minister for the Economic Affairs, H.E. Ahmed Al Mussalli, Director of the Department of Asian Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, H.E. Mohammed Al Khaja, Adviser to Foreign Minister, H.E. Salem Khalifa Al Ghafli, UAE Ambassador to Azerbaijan and Elkhan Gahramanov, Azeri Ambassador to UAE.
During the meeting, both the leaders discussed issue of common concern. Hailing the UAE-Azeri relationship, President Aliyev said, “the political, economic, cultural relations and others have entered into the new phase”. For his part, H.H Sheikh Abdullah stressed that the bilateral relations would continue successfully.
The UAE FM also conveyed the regards of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa to the Azeri President. In turn, Aliyev conveyed his regards to H.H Sheikh Khalifa, expressing his pride about the growing UAE- Azeri ties in different fields.
