(Sharm el Sheikh) – Economy Minister Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri headed the UAE delegation to the 26th Arab Economic and Social Council (AESC) ministerial meeting, held in preparation for the Arab summit that is to be held in Egypt on 28th and 29th March.
The meeting discussed a number of topics, including Arab agenda for sustainable development, challenges facing the Arab Free Trade Zone, the proposed customs union and joint economic and social cooperation.
The UAE delegation included Mohammed bin Nakhira Al Dhaheri, UAE Ambassador to Egypt and Permanent Representative to the Arab League, Mohammed Ahmed bin Abdul Aziz Al Shihi, Under Secretary of Economy Ministry and other officials.
