(Manama) – Aluminium Bahrain B.S.C. (Alba) marked the occasion of Bahraini Women’s Day with a celebration.
Headed by Alba’s Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Ali Al Baqali, the celebration and luncheon hosted over 100 female employees of the Company.
“It is well-known that Bahraini women have set extraordinary example sfor their counterparts in all fields not just in Bahrain but also the GCC,” Al Baqali said.
“Alba is extremely proud of its female employees. This celebration is a significant opportunity for us at Alba to recognise our women workforce and thank them for their hard work and dedication that have played a major role in the Company’s success.”
Every year, Bahraini Women’s Day is celebrated on December 1 as part of an initiative by Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Wife of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW) to honour the achievements, valuable insights and contributions made by Bahraini women towards the development and progress of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
