(Manama) – HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain opened the 33rd GCC summit. His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice- President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, is leading the UAE’s delegation to the two-day summit.
Ahead of the opening ceremony, Sheikh Mohammed exchanged talks with GCC leaders over the current regional situation and agenda of the summit. The delegation accompanying Sheikh Mohammed includes Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister, Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri, Minister of Economy, Dr Anwar Mohammed Gargash, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Dr Obaid Humaid Al Tayer, Minister of State for Financial Affairs, Reem Ibrahim Al Hashemi, Minister of State, the Director of Dubai Ruler’s Office, Lt. General Musabbah Rashid Al Fattan, Khalifa Saeed Sulaiman, Director General of Dubai Protocol and Guesthouse Department, and the UAE’s Ambassador in Manama, Mohammed Sultan Al Suwaidi.
