13th Sharjah Heritage Days opens

(Sharjah) – His Highness Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah attended in presence of H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, opening of the 13th Sharjah festival Days.
The opening ceremony saw traditional shows about UAE’s diverse cultures, as well as folklore dances. Also taking part were folklore groups from Kuwait, Morocco, Algeria and Korea.
In attendance at the opening ceremony were Sheikhs, senior officials, guests and diplomats.
Following the opening, Sheikh Sultan toured the heritage area and was briefed about the festival’s programmes and activities.
