Curfew in Jeddah Reimposed for Two Weeks

Saudi Arabia has reimposed a curfew in the Red Sea city of Jeddah.

The curfew will be from 3pm to 6am for two weeks due to the spread of the coronavirus. Work will be suspended in offices, SPA reported.

SPA said prayers in the city’s mosques had also been suspended.

Employees of ministries, government agencies and private sector companies in the city will not work from the office, that statement added.

Restaurants and cafes will no longer serve food and drink on their premises and gatherings of more than five people are prohibited.
